Jazz Night at El Fant – May 14, 7–9 PM
We’re excited to welcome Sonja Kaipainen Trio to El Fant for a midweek evening of live jazz in its most honest and present form.

The trio—Sonja Kaipainen (piano), Tuomo Purhonen (double bass), and Kasper Halttunen (drums)—are all students of the Sibelius Academy, brought together by shared intuition and curiosity. Their set features Sonja’s original compositions, shaped by quiet moments of reflection and inspired by the natural world, daily absurdities, and the complexities of being human. A few handpicked standards round out the evening with familiar warmth.

There’s no need to overstate it—this is music made between people who listen closely to one another, and invite the audience to do the same.

Our venue has three sections: Room A, Room B, and Room C. Room A offers the best view of the performance, while views in Room B and Room C may be slightly limited.
Seating is first-come, first-served, so we recommend arriving early to choose your preferred spot. We can accommodate up to 45-50 guests.
