We’ve always liked the idea of hearing jazz in a small room, close enough to see and feel what’s happening between the musicians. So we started putting on concerts at El Fant.

Jazz at El Fant takes two forms. Infant Eyes is our concert series, inviting musicians and bands to play a full set in the café. El Fant Jam Sessions begin with an opening set, followed by an open floor that keeps going until 1am.

On the first Friday of every month, one of the two takes over the room. Some nights are for listening, some are for joining in. The room changes with the people playing in it.
